Buechner Haffer Meyers & Koenig Co., LPA (“BHMK“) is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Brett Renzenbrink, effective Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
Renzenbrink, who acts as an Outside Chief Legal Officer for several Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky companies, will be adding depth to a number of BHMK‘s practice areas, as well as bringing some accretive expertise in areas such as Transportation and Logistics, Emerging Companies, and Commercial Litigation.
Renzenbrink is the author of 4L, What They Don’t Teach You About Law in Law School. He mentors law students and young lawyers on how to approach the changing landscape of law practice today.
A highly entrepreneurial attorney, Renzenbrink is interested in helping entrepreneurial clients get solutions that fit them. He reflects the roots of BHMK, which started in 1979 as an entrepreneurial firm for enterprising individuals, families, and business owners. When BHMK began, Bob Buechner took the ground-breaking step of adding Gloria Haffer as the first woman partner of a Fourth Street law firm. The firm then created leading-edge strategies for the private client market. Entrepreneurs always have been part of this market, and Renzenbrink fits this tradition.
Renzenbrink is a native of Cincinnati. Prior to joining BHMK, he ran the Cincinnati office of a Columbus law firm.
The addition of Renzenbrink is part of a broader evolution of BHMK. This fall, BHMK will be moving from its home of 39 years to the 23rd Floor of the Atrium II building – still on Fourth Street, and closer to the redevelopment of eastern downtown. The move will happen shortly before the firm’s 40th anniversary year in 2019.
