On Friday, January 26, 2018, a new era of management arrived for Buechner Haffer Meyers & Koenig, Co., LPA (“BHMK“).
At the January 26, 2018 Shareholder meeting of all shareholder attorneys of the firm, David W. Burleigh was elected the new firm President and Chairman, Brian R. Redden was elected to the role of Executive Vice President – Operations and Secretary of the Corporation; and Brian J. Hirsch was elected Executive Vice President – Finance and Treasurer of the Corporation. Further, firm founders Robert W. Buechner and Gloria S. Haffer were elected to Chair Emeritus positions in recognition of their founding and leadership of the firm over the last 39 years.
2018 will be a year of change for BHMK. For the first time in the history of the firm, its office will not be located at 105 East Fourth Street. Later this year, BHMK will move to new offices in the Atrium II Building, having recently signed a Letter of Intent for space on the 23rd Floor of Atrium II.
The new Officers of the firm will comprise an Executive Committee of BHMK and have primary responsibility for the vision, operations, and finances of the firm. However, all partners of the firm remain and will be making the move with BHMK to its new office space. Further announcements regarding exciting developments in 2018 will be forthcoming and we look forward to continuing to serve our clients in the closely held business, small business, and family business sector, seeking to provide cost efficient and effective solutions to those clients from start-up through succession planning.
