Music Hall Lit Up for Blink 2024
It was 2013 and Lumenocity lit up Music Hall and the hearts of Cincinnatians while the sounds of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra played in Washington Park; travel forward 13 years and Lumenocity at Music Hall evolved into the citywide light festival "Blink" we know of today.
Blink In The Ballroom
This year during BLINK 2024 Friends of Music Hall & Cincinnati Arts Association are hosting a nightly event called "Blink In The Ballroom" along with incredible projection lighting illuminating the exterior of Music Hall.
While light projection mapping will cover the exterior of Music Hall viewable from Washington Park, come inside to the Music Hall Ballroom for a respite and hear the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ filling the ballroom air with sounds.
1927 Mighty Wurlitzer Organ
Musician Trent Sims will play the 1927 Mighty Wurlitzer Organ in the ballroom each night of Blink from 7pm - 10pm. Enter the realm where light meets sound, have a seat and see with your ears inside one of Cincinnati's most impressive architectural masterpieces.

THE MUSIC HALL EXPERIENCE
An official BLINK installation, The Music Hall Experience will present a 30-minute projection experience like never before. For 2024, the façade of the historic venue will feature four unique lighting and projection shows, each by a different artist:
- Chase Haverkos (Cincinnati, OH),
- Lightborne (Cincinnati, OH),
- Susan Kosti (Syndey, Australia),
- and AVextended (Beaugency, France). Stay for one or see all four!
BLINK IN THE BALLROOM
Presented by Friends of Music Hall and Cincinnati Arts Association, Blink In The Ballroom will showcase talented theater organist Trent Sims playing a medley of new and classic songs on the 1927 Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. Guests will also experience interior lighting effects, and a remarkable Music Hall model made with botanical materials by Applied Imagination.

Don't Drive to Blink
Parking Please consider taking an UBER, LYFT, or other rideshare options to get into and out of OTR during BLINK 2024. Unless you are in the Washington Park parking lot early and are leaving late, driving in and around OTR during Blink will be problematic. Have someone drop you off, User Rideshare apps, or take the bus into and out of OTR during BLINK. Parking is going to be difficult and people will be everywhere. Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky busses will be free during BLINK 2024.
